October 2018 Trip To Kenya

John Skoog

In October I went to Kenya to meet Jackie in person and visit the school.

I was asked to speak to the parents and students

I met Jackie for the 1st time in person. She has a beautiful heart for children

The desks we need they cost about $15.00 each

The wood burning stoves that the school is using should be replaced with coal units. Coal is easy to get here.

Our classrooms could use floor and roof repair.

The outhouse back wall is rotted out creating an unsafe environment for our students. We really need a better system.

Food cost have risen and our grain storage is low. We feed 160 students a day.
